SoundPage (formerly LeafVox) is a local-first iPhone app for importing, reading, and listening to supported EPUB, TXT and text-based PDF files. This policy explains what information SoundPage handles and how it is protected.
SoundPage does not collect personal data through the app.
SoundPage has no developer-operated account system, analytics, advertising, tracking, or cloud service. The app does not upload your books, book text, reading positions, or voice and appearance settings to the developer.
SoundPage processes the following information only to provide app functionality:
Imported files and derived reading data are stored in the app’s private container on your device. SoundPage copies a supported file into that container and does not modify the original file you selected.
SoundPage uses Apple’s system document picker to let you choose a file. Access is limited to the files you select.
SoundPage uses on-device built-in voices and iOS system speech services for read-aloud playback. System voice availability and any system-managed voice downloads are controlled by Apple and your device settings. SoundPage does not send book text to a developer-operated speech server.
While playback is active, SoundPage may provide the current book title, author, cover, and playback status to iOS so that system Now Playing and lock-screen controls can work.
SoundPage includes open-source components such as Readium, ZIPFoundation, SwiftSoup, and on-device speech components for local publication parsing, validation, and display. SoundPage does not use these components for advertising, analytics, tracking, or transmitting your book content to the developer.
SoundPage does not:
Imported books and their related reading data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall SoundPage.
To delete a book, open it in SoundPage, tap the More button, and choose Delete This Book. This removes SoundPage’s local copy, cover, reading position, and per-book voice setting. It does not delete or change the original file outside SoundPage.
General app preferences remain until you change them or uninstall the app. Uninstalling SoundPage removes its app-local data from the device. iOS may include app data in device backups according to your Apple backup settings; SoundPage does not operate or have access to those backups.
If you voluntarily contact support by email, the developer receives the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. This information is used only to respond to your request and is retained only as reasonably necessary for support and legal obligations. Support email is not collected through the SoundPage app.
Please do not send copyrighted books, private documents, or sensitive personal content unless it is necessary for a support request and you have the right to share it.
SoundPage is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
SoundPage relies on iOS app sandboxing, device encryption, and your device security settings to protect locally stored data. You are responsible for maintaining access controls on your device and for keeping any original or backup copies of your files.
This policy may be updated when SoundPage’s features or data practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.

听页使用本机内置声音和 iOS 系统语音服务进行朗读。系统声音是否可用以及系统管理的声音下载由 Apple 和您的设备设置控制。SoundPage 不会把书籍正文发送到开发者运营的语音服务器。
朗读期间，SoundPage 可能会向 iOS 提供当前书名、作者、封面和播放状态，以便系统“正在播放”和锁屏控制正常工作。
SoundPage 使用 Readium、ZIPFoundation、SwiftSoup 和本机语音组件等开源组件在本机解析、验证和展示出版物。SoundPage 不会利用这些组件进行广告、分析、追踪，也不会通过它们把您的书籍内容传输给开发者。
SoundPage 不会：
导入的书籍及相关阅读数据会保存在您的设备上，直到您主动删除或卸载 SoundPage。
如需删除书籍，请在 SoundPage 中打开该书，点击右上角的更多按钮，然后选择删除这本书。该操作会删除 SoundPage 的本地副本、封面、阅读位置和单本书声音设置，不会删除或修改 SoundPage 之外的原始文件。
通用应用设置会保留到您修改设置或卸载 App。卸载 SoundPage 会从设备上移除 App 的本地数据。iOS 可能会根据您的 Apple 备份设置把应用数据纳入设备备份；SoundPage 不运营也无法访问这些备份。
如果您主动通过电子邮件联系技术支持，开发者会收到您选择发送的电子邮件地址、消息和附件。这些信息仅用于回应您的问题，并只在技术支持和法定义务所需的合理期限内保留。SoundPage App 本身不会收集技术支持邮件。
除非排查问题确有必要且您有权分享，否则请勿发送受版权保护的书籍、私人文档或敏感个人内容。
SoundPage 面向一般用户，不会故意收集儿童的个人信息。
SoundPage 依靠 iOS 应用沙盒、设备加密和您的设备安全设置保护本地数据。您需要负责维护设备访问控制，并自行保管文件的原始副本或备份。
当 SoundPage 的功能或数据处理方式发生变化时，本政策可能会更新。页面顶部日期表示当前政策版本。
