How do I run a useful first check?

Connect to the Wi-Fi or cellular network you want to test, turn on any VPN involved in the problem, and run Quick Check. Keep the app open while the measurements finish.

Change only one thing before repeating a check—for example, disable the VPN, move closer to the router, or switch from Wi-Fi to cellular. Comparing one controlled change makes the evidence easier to interpret.

Why can a connection feel slow when download speed looks good?

Top speed is only one part of the experience. High loaded latency means requests can become delayed while the connection is busy, which can affect calls, games, remote work, and interactive websites.

What do custom targets test?

Custom targets let you check public HTTPS sites and services you rely on. Network Doctor validates reachability and response timing; it does not sign in, bypass access controls, scan local devices, or test private credentials.

How do I restore Lifetime Pro?

Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Open Network Doctor Pro and choose Restore Purchases. A non-consumable purchase can be restored, but it cannot be transferred between different Apple Accounts.

Why does the app say “Product unavailable”?

Confirm that the device can reach the App Store, that in-app purchases are allowed, and that the App Store account is signed in. Product availability can also vary while an app or purchase is being reviewed. Try again later before reinstalling the app.

How do I delete saved reports?

Open Settings and choose Delete all history. This removes locally saved diagnostic reports from the app. Custom targets and app preferences are managed separately.

What should I include in a support email?

Include the app version, iOS version, connection type, whether a VPN was active, the action you took, and the exact error message. Do not include passwords, private keys, or unredacted network reports. Remove public IP addresses, private hostnames, notes, and company information before attaching evidence.
